During your initial consultation, Dr. Williams will perform a fitness appraisal to determine your current fitness level. The appraisal will consist of measuring resting heart rate and blood pressure, body composition, flexibility, muscular strength, muscular endurance, aerobic capacity, and lung capacity measurements.
This exam will help determine physiological strengths and deficits. You will receive a computerized printout that compares your scores to other people your age.
Dr. Williams will then work with you to set up an exercise program that will help you meet your goals and take you through the exercise program to make sure that you know how to do the exercises and are performing them safely.
Although each workout is different, they will all be designed to help you meet your goals.
