Tai Chi for Exercise

Recent research has shown that anti-inflammatory drugs like Advil and Vioxx cause cardiovascular problems when taken for an extended period of time. This has left many arthritis sufferers with no way to alleviate their pain.

Tai Chi may be one of the best solutions to their problem. Researchers at Case Western Reserve University have demonstrated that Tai Chi will help lessen pain.

The researchers believe that activities like Tai Chi reduce arthritis pain by increasing circulation and stimulating the body to repair damaged joint surfaces.

Tai Chi has also been shown to increase strength, endurance, improve balance, and help with self-esteem.
