Don't Lose Your Balance
In the August 2004 issue of the Journal of American Geriatrics Society, researchers found a gradual decline in balance for women beginning at age 40.
This new information indicates that we should have a baseline measure of our balance and monitor it annually much like our cholesterol, blood pressure or bone density.
The test for balance takes a few seconds and can also tell if you are at risk for falling.
